Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a similar STEM field.
• We require at least 5 years of Machine Learning experience with proven business impact.
• We require strong programming skills in Python, including numpy, pandas, scipy, and sklearn.
• We require a solid understanding of numerical methods and computational algorithms.
• We require research or industry experience involving computational problem-solving.
• We require advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above.
• We need candidates who are ready to learn new methods, switch quickly between tasks and topics, and work with challenging, complex guidelines.
• We require a laptop, internet connection, time availability, and enthusiasm for freelance remote work.

Responsibilities

• We design original computational STEM problems that simulate real scientific workflows.
• We create problems that require Python programming to solve.
• We ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• We develop problems requiring non-trivial reasoning chains and creative problem-solving approaches.
• We verify solutions using Python with standard libraries such as numpy, pandas, scipy, and sklearn.
• We document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
• We contribute to training prompts and refine model responses.
• We collaborate on advanced AI projects aligned with our skills on our own schedule.
