2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in a 2nd line support role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory
• Experience with ticketing systems and SLAs
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated tickets from 1st line support
• Support Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Windows OS
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of support processes
• Work closely with IT support teams and wider business stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and maintain service levels
