Engineering Manager

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Principal Software Engineer
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Hands-on experience with engineering delivery
• FinCrime experience within a bank or fintech environment (AML, sanctions, etc.)
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies
• Familiarity with the tech stack (Python, Django, TypeScript, GCP, AWS, CI/CD, TDD) is a plus but not essential

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
• Engage in active engineering delivery and hands-on development
• Facilitate collaboration within the team to encourage knowledge sharing
• Help implement best practices in software development
• Assist in adapting new technologies as needed
• Support and mentor junior engineers
