Salary: £43,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements

• We require strong hands-on AWS experience in a DevOps engineering role.
• We require proven experience with CI/CD tooling and DevOps toolchains.
• We require solid information security knowledge and the ability to design secure-by-default solutions.
• We require experience working in an Agile environment.
• We require strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• We require the ability to mentor others and lead process improvement.
• We require a currently valid, fully transferable SC clearance.
• We require sole British nationality only; dual nationals cannot be considered.
• We require candidates to have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• We design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• We drive process optimisation and lead the implementation of improvements.
• We embed security controls into solution design from the outset.
• We manage availability, capacity, and performance across the environment.
• We mentor and guide team members.
• We report on KPIs and progress to management and customers.
• We use Confluence and Jira for documentation and story management.
• We work as part of an Agile team on a high-profile UK government digital initiative.
