Systems Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

• We need deep expertise in VMware and strong hands-on experience with vCenter and vSphere.
• We need proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including building, deploying, administering, supporting, and patching.
• We need strong Microsoft Active Directory experience, including account management, authentication, group policy, and hardening.
• We need experience providing infrastructure support, including DHCP, DNS, and routing.
• We need familiarity with Office 365, including feature and policy management, Exchange configuration, and administration.
• We need experience supporting and administering SQL.
• We are looking for someone with experience in infrastructure support or 3rd line support.
• We want a candidate with a strong technical background in core IT services and enterprise infrastructure.
• Relevant systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or similar technical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• We maintain core IT services for our global workforce.
• We build, deploy, administer, support, and patch Windows Server environments.
• We manage Microsoft Active Directory, including account administration, authentication, group policies, and security hardening.
• We provide infrastructure support across services such as DHCP, DNS, and routing.
• We administer Office 365, including feature and policy management, Exchange configuration, and user support.
• We manage VMware vCenter and vSphere, including host and virtual machine deployments.
• We support and administer SQL databases.
• We contribute as part of our infrastructure support team to keep our IT environment stable and reliable.
