Requirements

• Strong BAU infrastructure support experience
• Microsoft 365 experience
• Azure and Entra ID experience
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience
• Intune, MECM, or SCCM experience
• Windows Server experience
• VMware or Hyper-V experience
• Citrix, SQL, backups, or MFT experience would be useful
• Confident troubleshooting skills
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Available immediately and able to start on 1st July

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU infrastructure support across our Microsoft cloud, EUC, server, and core infrastructure services
• Keep BAU operations moving and help maintain service stability
• Resolve issues across the infrastructure environment
• Support users and internal IT teams
• Work independently in a broad BAU environment
• Pick up work quickly and provide confident hands-on support

We are supporting an urgent short-term contract requirement for a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer. This is a UK remote role, inside IR35, with a rate of up to £600 per day and a 3-month duration. We need an immediate starter who can interview and commit quickly to provide BAU infrastructure support while a member of our internal team moves onto a wider project. This role is not project delivery focused; it is centered on keeping services stable and supporting our wider IT environment. On-call is not required.
