Support Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements

• We need a DV cleared support engineer with experience supporting busy environments.
• We need experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS support and administration.
• We need experience with Azure, Entra and Active Directory administration.
• We need experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• We need experience with Endpoint Management and Intune administration.
• We need experience running PowerShell scripts.
• We need an understanding of security concepts such as MFA and Conditional Access.
• We need familiarity with the Atlassian suite or equivalent ITSM tooling.

Responsibilities

• We respond to incoming tickets and provide ongoing updates on progress.
• We provide basic 1st and 2nd line support for our environments, services and infrastructure.
• We escalate complex issues to 3rd line support.
• We carry out end user support both desk-side and remotely.
• We issue communications to our user community for incidents and maintenance events.
• We respond to monitoring alerts, triage issues and escalate where necessary.
• We ensure incident tickets are updated, maintained and fed into the major incident process when required.
• We provision end user devices and onboard users.
