Requirements
- We require a highly experienced Azure DevOps professional with expertise in architecting, delivering, and operating complex cloud and digital platforms.
- We require hands-on experience delivering, operating, and supporting services across Azure, hybrid, and legacy environments.
- We require strong practical understanding of industrialised DevOps delivery models, including CI/CD, automation, and repeatable deployment patterns.
- We require the ability to interpret client contracts and SLAs and translate them into operational and technical delivery requirements.
- We require proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and remediate SLA breaches, including technical and process-based mitigations.
- We require hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and service documentation.
- We require demonstrated experience communicating technical issues, risks, and solutions to senior stakeholders and clients.
- We require practical knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release, within modern Azure DevOps environments.
- We require the ability to work across engineering, platform, security, and operations teams to present a single operational view of service.
- We require strong awareness of cost management and chargeback models within Azure-based services.
- We require hands-on experience aligning engineering work with cloud and digital transformation strategies.
- We require strong technical and business acumen with the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
- We require clear, confident communication and strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
- We require a proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to own technical outcomes end-to-end.

Responsibilities
- We will have you architect, deliver, and operate complex cloud and digital platforms supporting large-scale public sector transformation.
- We will have you design and implement agile delivery pipelines across infrastructure, application, and platform services.
- We will have you support services across Azure, hybrid, and legacy environments.
- We will have you apply industrialised DevOps delivery models, including CI/CD, automation, and repeatable deployment patterns.
- We will have you interpret client contracts and SLAs and convert them into operational and technical delivery requirements.
- We will have you identify, troubleshoot, and remediate SLA breaches, including implementing mitigations.
- We will have you create, review, and maintain operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and service documentation.
- We will have you communicate technical issues, risks, and solutions to senior stakeholders and clients.
- We will have you apply ITIL processes across incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
- We will have you work closely with engineering, platform, security, and operations teams to maintain a single operational view of service.

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with SC clearance for a remote UK contract role inside IR35. You will join us to support large-scale public sector transformation by delivering reliable, scalable, secure, and compliant cloud services using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), and modern automation practices. We need a highly hands-on engineer who can work across complex systems and multiple teams, with strong operational ownership and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
