AI Engineering Manager (Golang/Google Cloud Platform) - 100% Remote- Full time Role

Position: AI Engineering Manager (Golang/Google Cloud Platform) Location: 100% Remote Duration: Fulltime Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled Software Engineering Managers to lead AI-native platform engineering teams focused on building scalable, cloud-native, intelligent applications leveraging Google Cloud Platform and Golang.

The ideal candidate will have deep backend engineering expertise, strong cloud architecture experience, and exposure to AI/ML-driven product ecosystems, GenAI services, and modern distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor engineering teams building AI-native and cloud-native applications. • Drive architecture, design, and development of scalable backend systems using Golang and Google Cloud Platform. • Collaborate with AI/ML teams, product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver intelligent platform solutions. • Design and implement microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and AI-integrated workflows. • Establish engineering best practices for scalability, observability, security, reliability, and performance. • Manage sprint planning, technical delivery, engineering execution, and stakeholder communication. • Drive adoption of modern AI engineering practices including LLM integrations, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation. • Support hiring, coaching, and career growth of software engineers. • Participate in technical roadmap planning and architecture governance.

Required Skills: • 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership. • Strong hands-on experience in Golang development. • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). • Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and microservices. • Strong understanding of AI-native architectures and modern AI application ecosystems. • Experience integrating AI/ML services, APIs, or Generative AI platforms. • Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code. • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, event streaming, and backend platform engineering. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or AI orchestration frameworks. • Knowledge of Pub/Sub, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and related Google Cloud Platform services. • Experience implementing observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog. • Familiarity with MLOps pipelines and AI model deployment strategies. • Experience managing globally distributed engineering teams. • Google Cloud Platform or AI-related certifications are a plus.
