System Architect (AI and Enterprise Platforms)

System Architect (AI and Enterprise Platforms) Contract: 6 months (initial term) Location: Fully Remote Overview We are seeking a senior Systems Architect to provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across enterprise systems architecture.

This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions—particularly AI‑enabled platforms—that integrate across multiple applications, data sources, and cloud environments.

The architect will guide standards, governance, and technical direction while partnering closely with engineering and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications 8+ years of software and systems architecture / development experience 5+ years of hands‑on AI development experience Expertise with SQL (SQL Server/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases Experience with Git/GitHub/TFS and modern SDLC practices Deep understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps, Agile, and service‑oriented architectures Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience Microservices, service bus, or event‑driven architectures Azure DevOps or similar story management tools Education, data‑intensive, or regulated environments Key Responsibilities Define and evolve enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and governance processes Architect and implement scalable AI‑driven solutions integrated with existing business and IT systems Provide technical leadership and direction across internal development teams Design integration layers across internal platforms and external systems (LMS, SIS, partner applications) Lead architecture for high‑traffic, distributed systems and microservice‑based solutions Conduct feasibility analyses and advise leadership on technology strategy and roadmaps Perform architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability Evaluate emerging technologies and guide R&D initiatives Produce and maintain architecture documentation aligned with SDLC standards Seniority Level Director Employment Type Contract Job Function Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting, Primary and Secondary Education, and Education Administration Programs Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Revolution Technologies by 2x Get notified about new System Architect jobs in United States.
