2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year

Requirements

• High level of 2nd line IT support skills and very strong troubleshooting skills
• Managed Service provider or demonstrable experience in a similar role providing desk-side and remote support to users with varying degrees of computer literacy
• Experience in the installation, configuration and support of desktop/laptops, various types of peripheral hardware (including printers, smartphones and tablets)
• Proven knowledge and demonstrated experience in the operation & administration of Google Workspace. Experience with Microsoft 365 would also be an advantage
• Demonstrated experience of managing tablets/mobiles and Windows 10/11 devices with Intune or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and MAC operating systems
• Good networking fundamental skills including LAN, WAN, VPN, Routers, Firewalls

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line IT support to users in an onsite environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral hardware
• Administer and support users with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 tools
• Manage and maintain mobile devices and Windows 10/11 systems with Intune
• Ensure efficient networking and connectivity for users, addressing LAN, WAN, and VPN issues
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction
