Data Protection Manager

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in data protection or privacy, ideally gained in a large customer-facing business where you have dealt with complex regulatory environments.
• A deep understanding of data protection frameworks and the ability to lead risk management initiatives at enterprise level.
• A proven track record in shaping and evolving data protection policies, with the expertise to drive change in a high-impact setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of our enterprise-wide data protection framework, ensuring it stays ahead of industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Take charge of our group-wide data protection risk management, identifying and mitigating risks before they become issues.
• Carry out horizon scanning to keep the business informed of emerging trends and potential impacts.
• Maintain and evolve our data protection policies, shaping how we handle data privacy at a fundamental level.
