Salary: £56,000 - 84,000 per year
Requirements
- We are looking for someone with 8 years of software development experience.
- We need 3 years of advanced hands-on Flutter development experience.
- We require 4 years of experience developing data-driven mobile applications.
- We expect expert proficiency in Dart and experience with at least one additional language such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C.
- We want strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and design patterns.
- We require strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- We are looking for strong grounding in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- We require professional experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub.
- We expect experience working with CI/CD for mobile applications.
- We value a self-motivated, proactive learner with a positive, collaborative attitude.
- We need excellent communication skills, including experience working with distributed teams.
- Bluetooth/BLE integrations are desirable.
Responsibilities
- We design, develop, test, document, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- We contribute to architecture and technical decision-making across the mobile development lifecycle.
- We build data-driven applications integrating with RESTful backend services.
- We apply secure-by-design principles, including secure coding, data protection, and vulnerability mitigation.
- We develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
- We collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
- We participate in design, architecture, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
- We deliver software on time, including documentation, unit tests, and required artefacts.
- We contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- We support secure development lifecycle activities, including dependency and vulnerability management.
- We evaluate tools, frameworks, and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- We write clean, maintainable, testable, and reliable code.
- We work effectively in asynchronous and multi-threaded environments.
- We mentor junior engineers and champion high engineering standards.
- We operate within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
