SharePoint Designer / Admin

Salary: £50,000 - 164,000 per year

Requirements

• We need experience as a SharePoint Administrator, Designer, Consultant, or Microsoft 365 Consultant.
• We need strong SharePoint Online experience across sites, pages, document libraries, and permissions.
• We need good knowledge of document management, metadata, tagging, and content types.
• We need experience with workflows, ideally using SharePoint workflow tools or Power Automate.
• We need strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
• We need the ability to work independently and deliver within a short-term engagement.
• We need candidates who are immediately available and able to work full-time for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• We will review the current SharePoint structure, document libraries, workflows, permissions, and user access.
• We will gather requirements from senior stakeholders and translate them into practical improvements.
• We will improve SharePoint pages and sites to make them clearer and more user-friendly.
• We will configure document libraries, including tagging, metadata, folders, views, and content types.
• We will review and update security, permissions, and access controls.
• We will support workflow configuration, including approvals, document routing, and basic automation.
• We will provide recommendations, handover, and basic documentation where required.

We are offering a short-term SharePoint Designer/Admin contract for 13 to 15 days on an outside IR35 day rate of £300 to £350. The role is remote, with an initial 3 days in London to gather requirements and expenses covered. We need someone hands-on rather than development-focused, working closely with senior stakeholders to improve our SharePoint environment, document management, and user experience. This assignment requires immediate availability and cannot be done part time or alongside other work.
