Deskside Support Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced onsite, deskside, or field engineer with previous IT support experience.
• We need strong Windows OS and desktop/laptop troubleshooting skills.
• We require hands-on hardware support experience, including break-fix and device replacement work.
• We value experience with networking and remote access technologies.
• Exposure to Active Directory and Microsoft Office / Office 365 is beneficial.
• We are looking for someone with strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• SC Clearance is required, although we can have the candidate start once BPSS clearance is in place.
• This role is based fully onsite in Lytham St Annes.

Responsibilities

• We will ask you to provide onsite, deskside, and remote support within SLA targets.
• You will perform hardware break-fix, device replacements, and IMAC activities.
• You will diagnose and resolve desktop, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• You will manage ticket updates, escalations, and user communication.
• You will support additional customer sites where required.
