Technical Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• We require at least 3 years experience in a similar Technical Engineer or IT Support role.
• We require strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012+ and Windows 10/11.
• We require strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• We require strong knowledge of Hyper-V virtualisation.
• We require strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant and SharePoint Online administration.
• We require strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• We require strong knowledge of firewall configuration, including Meraki, Draytek, or Sophos.
• We require a full driving licence and the willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities

• We diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• We configure and manage Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 tenants.
• We install, maintain, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless devices.
• We support and administer Active Directory, Group Policies, Hyper-V, and SharePoint Online.
• We work with VoIP systems, preferably Gamma, and support Microsoft Teams deployments.
• We maintain strong documentation and keep ticketing systems updated with work completed.
• We provide on-site and remote technical support for clients across various sectors.
• We deliver high-quality IT support services and help ensure client satisfaction through proactive technical delivery.
