Infrastructure Engineer - NetDevOps

Salary: £43,500 - 73,500 per year

Requirements

• Experience working within central government in the last 12 months
• Strong hands-on experience in Enterprise Networking Engineering, particularly with OSPF and BGP environments
• Ability to design and implement secure and resilient traffic flows
• Knowledge of enterprise and cloud network patterns
• Skilled in Firewall and Security Technologies, specifically with Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience in policy design and implementation across data centres and cloud environments
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and secure network design principles
• Knowledge of Data Centre & Network Architecture, including VXLAN / EVPN and VRF segmentation
• Experience with multi-site fabrics and vendors such as Arista or equivalent
• Understanding of Load balancing technologies (e.g., F5 BIG-IP: LTM / APM / ASM)

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) to join our team, working three days in either Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, or Blackpool and two days remotely. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and evolving enterprise network platforms with a focus on modern, automated solutions. Youll be part of a collaborative environment that prioritizes innovation and excellence in network engineering. As the role falls within IR35, you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of your contract.
