Data Engineer with Power BI Exp

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong Power BI experience.
• We require experience in building, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines.
• We require experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and/or Databricks.
• We require proficiency in data modelling for reporting and insight generation.
• We require a strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and best practices.
• We require experience in data warehousing, including design, implementation, and maintenance of centralised data repositories.
• We require familiarity with data analytics frameworks and tools such as Power BI.
• We require knowledge of database management systems such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL in cloud and on-premise environments.
• We require the ability to architect cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS.
• We require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• We require strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical strategies.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory is desirable.
• Knowledge of PySpark, Python, or Spark is desirable.
• Exposure to Power BI and downstream reporting solutions is desirable.
• Understanding of medallion architecture and lakehouse concepts is desirable.
