Senior Full Stack Developer

Salary: £64,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer across backend, frontend, and cloud
• Commercial experience building modelling or calculation-heavy platforms in financial services, pensions, investments, or similar regulated domains
• Exposure to simulation engines, forecasting tools, or financial projection systems
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end and making sensible technical trade-offs
• High standards around code quality, testing, and maintainability
• Experience working in regulated or accuracy-critical environments

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end full-stack solutions in a modern cloud environment
• Develop backend services using Python and C#
• Develop frontend applications with TypeScript and React
• Work within Azure, including Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and ADF
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews
• Apply pragmatic AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices to improve delivery quality and velocity
• Support development of financial modelling platforms, including Monte Carlo simulations, cashflow projections, scenario modelling, valuation and forecasting logic, and pension or investment modelling engines

We are partnering with a specialist software consultancy that delivers business-critical platforms across financial services and pensions. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who enjoys proper engineering, clean architecture, ownership of solutions, and working alongside experienced senior engineers and QA specialists. This is a hands-on delivery role with meaningful technical influence across the full stack, without line management or ticket-factory environments. The contract is outside IR35, fully remote, initially for 6 months, and offers up to £600 per day.
