Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and applications within a DevOps, Platform Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering environment.
- Experience supporting legacy applications and infrastructure.
- Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Nginx and Apache Tomcat/HTTP Server.
- Experience with Bash scripting.
- Experience with containerisation and virtualisation technologies.
- Oracle 11 administration experience, including RAC, RMAN and Partitioning.
- Experience supporting and administering Elasticsearch.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience providing L3 support and resolving incidents.
- Active Security Clearance (SC) that has been used on a UK Government client engagement within the last 12 months.
- Active NPPV3 clearance that has been used within the last 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain production infrastructure and legacy applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Undertake peer reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.
- Support Oracle and Elasticsearch platforms.
- Become a subject matter expert within the assigned service area.
- Contribute to platform improvements and automation initiatives.
