Application Support Specialist

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Awareness of programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
• Experience with SaaS applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to our clients and service desk team via face to face, phone, email, and remote assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our software products
• Escalate complex issues to 3rd party external developers
• Document all support activities in our ticketing system
• Collaborate with our 3rd party development team to identify and resolve software bugs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our software products and related technologies
• Work on project work for around 40% of the role
