Requirements

Responsibilities

• We analyse and interpret half-hourly electric meter data across commercial and business sites.
• We monitor and categorise meter data to identify trends, anomalies and faults.
• We investigate data inconsistencies relating to meter performance, communications and data quality.
• We set and manage tolerance levels to maintain accurate and reliable data performance.
• We work with SIM-enabled smart metering technology to validate remotely transmitted data.
• We review data accuracy and escalate faults or irregularities where required.
• We support reporting and operational performance through detailed data analysis.
• We investigate and resolve complex issues and customer queries, working with internal teams where needed.
• We identify opportunities for process improvement and support process changes and testing.
• We maintain process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
• We provide workload and progress updates to management.

We are recruiting a Data Analyst for a contract running from 15/06/2026 to 20/12/2026, with the possibility of extension. The role is inside IR35, offers a rate of £14.51 per hour, and follows a Monday to Friday schedule of either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. This is a hybrid position with one day per week in our Leeds office.
