Requirements
- Commercial experience working as a User Researcher
- Strong knowledge of GDS and experience delivering to GDS standards
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Confidence facilitating user research sessions and presenting findings to stakeholders
- A passion for advocating for users and influencing product direction through evidence-based research
- A portfolio demonstrating user research, user journeys, personas, usability testing and related UX artefacts
Responsibilities
- Plan, recruit and conduct user research sessions
- Run remote and face-to-face research, analyse findings and present recommendations
- Translate user insights into actionable requirements for design and development teams
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Service Designers and UX Designers within Agile delivery teams
- Champion user-centred design principles across complex digital transformation programmes

We are a global consultancy continuing to grow our Digital Experience and User-Centred Design capability, and we are hiring a User Researcher to join our Newcastle team. This is a hybrid role with three days per week in the Newcastle office, supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes across government and regulated industries. We offer a salary of £50,000 to £54,000, plus bonus and pension, and the opportunity to work on meaningful digital services with experienced multidisciplinary teams while continuing to develop your User Research career.
