Responsibilities

• We design and implement enterprise storage solutions using NetApp technologies.
• We deliver storage infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, technology refreshes, and transformation initiatives.
• We configure and deploy NetApp storage environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance requirements are met.
• We implement storage replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• We work closely with server, virtualisation, network, and cloud teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• We participate in technical design workshops and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
• We produce and maintain project documentation, implementation plans, technical designs, and handover documentation.
• We ensure all solutions comply with security, governance, and operational standards.
• We support project testing, validation, and transition activities.

We are seeking an experienced NetApp Storage Engineer to join a major infrastructure programme delivering project-based storage solutions within a secure environment. This is a remote role with onsite presence required at our client site in Preston. The position is focused exclusively on project delivery, with no operational support responsibilities, and offers the opportunity to work on design, implementation, migration, and optimisation of enterprise storage platforms within a complex enterprise setting.
