Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements
- Data FIRST mentality, with experience in Data Engineering (Data Bricks, Microsoft Fabric) before transitioning to Product Ownership.
- Technical proficiency in Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, and Fabric for data engineering, analytics, performance optimisation, and governance.
- Experience with development frameworks within Microsoft Stack Technologies.
- Proven track record in implementing and optimising scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and prioritizing product backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and collaborating with development teams to deliver sprint goals.
- Experience in agile product ownership (SAFe or similar frameworks), including daily scrum leadership and sprint planning.
- Effective cross-team collaboration with engineering, analytics, and business teams for seamless execution.
- Ability to track, analyse, and interpret KPIs for guiding product improvements and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of modern data platforms, including experience with medallion architecture, AI/ML applications, and cloud-native infrastructures.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to various audiences, including engineers, business partners, and senior leadership.
- Experience working with distributed teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Passion for leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and cloud technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Nice to have: experience working within an Accountancy firm, like a Big 4 player.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, global products with a data-heavy focus, ensuring they perform efficiently within a heavily regulated environment.
- Lead product ownership initiatives that focus on the execution of Proof of Concepts related to data analytics and engineering.
- Collaborate with Data and Intelligence Delivery specialists and Assurance professionals to enhance audit quality and client services.
- Maintain and prioritize product backlogs and write detailed user stories to guide development teams sprint goals.
- Lead daily scrums and assist in sprint planning using agile methodologies.
- Facilitate effective communication among engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure seamless product execution.
- Track and interpret KPIs to drive product improvements and share insights with stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation and leverage advanced analytics and AI to develop cutting-edge solutions.
