Security Solution Architect EMEA & CALA

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements

• Several years of experience in web applications and APIs, with a focus on application security.
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, secure coding patterns, input validation, and schema enforcement.
• Experience with APIs such as GraphQL/REST and XML/SOAP, and API gateways like Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, and AWS API Gateway.
• Experience securing APIs with WAF, bot defense, schema validation, and related controls.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization, including OAuth2, JWT tokens, session management, mTLS, JWKs, and refresh flows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and service mesh platforms like Istio and Envoy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to field teams on key opportunities.
• Deliver onsite and remote support for product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof of concept/value activities.
• Support our EMEA/CALA team and technology partner initiatives, as well as new and existing prospects in the security application and API domain.
• Lead integration projects with partners, enterprises, and operators, including requirements gathering and advisory support.
• Prepare and deliver white papers, configuration guides, and presentations for industry events, trade shows, and internal trainings.
• Assist the sales team with RFI/RFP processes, commercial offers, and remote and onsite PoVs.
• Define and evolve secure reference architectures for microservices, GraphQL/REST APIs, AI frontends, and cloud service components such as WAF/CDN/API/AI FW.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to product and engineering leadership by presenting options, trade-offs, and risk in business terms.
• Run architecture reviews, create playbooks and reference implementations, mentor engineers, and help uplift AppSec skills.
