Requirements
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong emphasis on network infrastructure and project delivery.
- We require a proven track record of delivering complex network and network security projects.
- CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
- Experience delivering solutions within Cisco-centric environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in network design, implementation, and management of end-to-end design and deployment workstreams covering LAN, WAN, security, and voice technologies is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.
- Proven experience delivering network infrastructure, data centre, and network security projects is required.
- Experience leading data centre migration programmes, including planning, transition, cutover, and migration activities, is required.
- Experience managing data centre exit or data centre consolidation projects is required.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies and their business impact is required.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP is required.
- Experience using Jira for project tracking and management is required.
- Ability to create, document, and present proposed technical changes is required.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project plans is required.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines is required.
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach is required.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage network infrastructure and network security projects from initiation through to completion.
- Gather and validate business requirements, define project scope, and establish deliverables.
- Define, manage, and control project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, budgets, and timelines.
- Work closely with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, and governance materials for senior leadership.
- Coordinate design, implementation, migration, and transition activities across multiple workstreams.
- Assess and communicate the impact of network and infrastructure changes.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with established project management methodologies and quality standards.
- Provide oversight of technical delivery while facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical oversight, manage project risks and issues, and operate effectively within a highly process-driven environment.
