Salary: £27,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong emphasis on network infrastructure and project delivery.
• We require a proven track record of delivering complex network and network security projects.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
• Experience delivering solutions within Cisco-centric environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in network design, implementation, and management of end-to-end design and deployment workstreams covering LAN, WAN, security, and voice technologies is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.
• Proven experience delivering network infrastructure, data centre, and network security projects is required.
• Experience leading data centre migration programmes, including planning, transition, cutover, and migration activities, is required.
• Experience managing data centre exit or data centre consolidation projects is required.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies and their business impact is required.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP is required.
• Experience using Jira for project tracking and management is required.
• Ability to create, document, and present proposed technical changes is required.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project plans is required.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels is required.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines is required.
• A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach is required.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage network infrastructure and network security projects from initiation through to completion.
• Gather and validate business requirements, define project scope, and establish deliverables.
• Define, manage, and control project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, budgets, and timelines.
• Work closely with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, and governance materials for senior leadership.
• Coordinate design, implementation, migration, and transition activities across multiple workstreams.
• Assess and communicate the impact of network and infrastructure changes.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with established project management methodologies and quality standards.
• Provide oversight of technical delivery while facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight, manage project risks and issues, and operate effectively within a highly process-driven environment.
