Atlassian Operations Engineer

Salary: £34,000 - 69,000 per year

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Atlassian Cloud administration experience across Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
• Jira project configuration experience at production scale, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, and screens
• Confluence administration experience, including spaces, permissions, and templates
• Jira Service Management administration experience, including request types, queues, portals, and SLA management
• Experience supporting user and group lifecycle operations at scale for thousands of users
• Working knowledge of SCIM provisioning, ideally with Okta as the identity provider

Responsibilities

• Own the Atlassian access provisioning ticket queue and manage day-to-day access requests
• Support user lifecycle operations across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Assets, including joiners, movers, and leavers
• Manage group membership and troubleshoot permission issues
• Support SCIM and Okta-Atlassian integration operations, including troubleshooting provisioning failures and reconciling mismatches
• Provide customer and internal user access support for Jira Service Management portals
• Support the JSM go-live as the new enterprise ITSM platform
• Contribute to ongoing support activities and projects within our Digital Workforce team

Our Digital Workforce team is growing, and we are looking to add an Atlassian Operations Engineer to support ongoing operations and key projects. We manage a large Atlassian Cloud estate of around 6,000 licensed users across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Assets, and related products. We are currently running major initiatives including the JSM go-live as our new enterprise ITSM platform, an enterprise licence renewal, and support for a strategic confidential programme. This is a UK remote role with a salary of £45,000 to £55,000.
