Senior IT Support Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer with previous experience supporting complex IT systems for small to medium-sized business clients.
• We expect strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• You should have experience supporting multiple network platforms and Microsoft suite products.
• You should be comfortable working on 3rd line IT support issues and supporting 1st and 2nd line engineers when needed.
• You should have relevant experience contributing to technical solutions, upgrades, and IT project discussions.
• You should be available to work 5 days a week during working hours if an onsite engineering visit is required.
• You should be willing to work in a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days in our Perth office and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities

• We act as the final escalation point for the IT helpdesk, resolving complex technical issues escalated from 1st and 2nd line support.
• We administer updates and support clients applications, IT systems, hardware and software, cloud services, network security, and wider networks.
• We diagnose and resolve client network support issues and collaborate with other team members to ensure fault resolution and client satisfaction.
• We keep our internal IT support ticketing system up to date.
• We contribute to IT projects, including significant infrastructure upgrades and the introduction of new technologies.
• We collaborate with our wider senior technology team on the development of innovative solutions.
• We provide guidance and assistance to 1st and 2nd line engineers when required.
• We continue to develop our skills through training courses provided by us.
