2nd Line IT Engineer

Salary: £38,500 - 67,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2nd Line IT Support
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and networks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Manage and escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support
• Document and track all support requests in the helpdesk system
• Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation and inventory
• Contribute to team meetings and participate in training sessions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
