Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• DV security clearance is essential
• Proven experience as a Front End Developer, with a strong portfolio of delivered work
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js)
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset
• Experience using version control (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines (e.g. Webpack, Gulp)
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and close collaboration with designers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with front-end best practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Build front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into interactive, accessible user experiences
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate front-end solutions with APIs and services
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliable and seamless user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, maintaining high standards of code quality and maintainability
• Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing to technical discussions and solution design
• Identify and implement improvements to front-end development practices and tooling
