Remote SEND Power BI Developer

Salary: £42,500 - 68,000 per year

Requirements

• We require local authority experience with SEND data.
• We require extensive experience with Power BI development.
• We require strong SQL and star schema data modelling experience.
• We require excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• We require the ability to elicit requirements and translate them into appropriate visualisations.

Responsibilities

• We design and develop visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• We translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• We connect to a variety of data sources, including Capita, SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint and APIs.
• We model data efficiently, including using star schema approaches, for performance and scalability.
• We collaborate with the DMP Data Group and SEND Head of Service to define KPIs, metrics and reporting needs.
• We work with the BA and Capita lead to ensure data accuracy, consistency and security across reports.
• We work with the SEND Business Analyst, IT and data teams to improve data pipelines and infrastructure.

We are recruiting on behalf of a client in North West England for a SEND Power BI Developer on a contract basis. The role is based in Central London with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days on site, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. The assignment is outside IR35 with a rate of £500 per day, negotiable based on experience.
