Technical Lead Engineer (Full Stack – Java / Vue.js)

Salary: £90,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Deep expertise in Vue.js and modern frontend development
• Strong backend experience in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and SQL/database design
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Security-first mindset with a background in cybersecurity preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between Java/Spring backend and Vue.js frontend
• Take ownership of feature development from concept through to delivery
• Ensure seamless integration across the stack and maintain architectural consistency
• Lead the design and delivery of new features focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Translate high-level requirements into clear technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers to elevate overall technical capability of the team
