Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven background in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architect or client-facing technical role
• Experience with private cloud infrastructure (Nutanix, VMware, Proxmox, OpenStack)
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid networking expertise LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with commercial awareness
• Cloud/architecture certifications are a bonus

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and understand customer requirements
• Design end-to-end solutions across cloud, private cloud, networking, and infrastructure
• Lead technical workshops, presentations, and solution demonstrations
• Produce Statements of Work, proposals, and technical documentation
• Ensure solutions meet relevant regulatory and compliance standards
• Input into service design, pricing, and risk assessment

The role is remote with regular UK travel for customer meetings, allowing you to work on nationally significant programmes. We require candidates to hold SC and NPPV3 security clearance, or to be eligible and willing to undergo vetting.
