2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role, ideally handling 2nd Line support requests
• Strong networking knowledge, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and switches
• Knowledge of backup technologies
• Good MS365 knowledge is advantageous
• Experience with Active Directory and VMware or HyperV
• Confident working with users at all levels and delivering strong customer service
• Ability to drive and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support to a broad range of clients remotely and on-site
• Handle day-to-day support tasks and project work
• Act as the first point of contact for clients
• Escalate issues from junior Engineers and act as an escalation point
• Ensure a high level of service is maintained for clients at all times
• Work towards individual and team KPIs
• Support the Help Desk team in delivering technical and customer service excellence

You will work closely with our existing Help Desk and an experienced team of Engineers to support a broad range of clients with technical faults and issues, both remotely and on-site.
