AI Technical Architect

Salary: £42,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• We require active UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for data engineering.
• We require deep expertise in Azure and native Azure AI tools, including AI Search and Document Intelligence.
• We need proven experience designing and deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• We require expertise in large language models, Generative AI, and prompt engineering.
• We need experience with vector databases, Azure OpenAI, and Cognitive Search.
• We require understanding of MLOps and LLMOps frameworks for production deployment.
• We are looking for an experienced technical architect with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• We require the ability to technically lead engineering teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• We will have you architect and govern robust on-premises, cloud, and hybrid AI solutions.
• We will expect you to apply strong technical governance and best practices across the delivery lifecycle.
• We will have you deploy, fine-tune, and customise pretrained LLMs.
• We will expect you to build intelligent AI systems using prompt engineering, vector databases, Azure OpenAI, and Cognitive Search.
• We will have you oversee large-scale data processing and AI data engineering pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• We will expect you to guide and mentor engineering teams.
• We will have you manage client and senior stakeholder relationships to build consensus on complex technical architectures.
• We will expect you to technically steer delivery toward production-ready Generative AI capabilities.

We are a well-established IT solution provider offering a 6-month remote contract for an AI Technical Architect at a rate of £600 a day inside IR35.
