IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• We require experience in an IT support or infrastructure support role.
• We require strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Entra ID.
• We require a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• We require experience working with ITSM or ticketing systems.
• We require familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi Gateway and WiFi solutions.
• We require familiarity with Cisco Meraki networking hardware.
• We require strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
• We prefer experience administering or supporting Azure environments.
• We prefer exposure to Unified Endpoint Management and security tooling such as Intune or ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
• We prefer experience with centrally managed WiFi platforms such as UniFi.
• We prefer exposure to virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V.

Responsibilities

• We provide 1st and 2nd line support for incidents and service requests, acting as an escalation point where required.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, printers, and end user hardware.
• We administer and support Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Group Policy, Exchange, and other core infrastructure services.
• We support remote users and multiple office locations using remote access tools.
• We maintain accurate and up-to-date system, process, and known-issue documentation.
• We assist with and contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
• We liaise with third party vendors and service providers as required.
• We ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• We maintain accurate IT asset tracking and inventory.

We are a multi-brand travel business at a pivotal moment of transformation and growth, and we are looking to add an experienced and proactive IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to our Head Office Technology team. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Rotherham Head Office (S60 2XR), and it is not suitable for remote or hybrid working. We offer a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, 30 days annual leave including public holidays with annual increases for the first three years, additional paid leave for your birthday and Christmas Eve, up to £1,580 each year for you and your partner to take a Leger Shearings tour plus five extra paid leave days for it, and opportunities for professional development through our LSG Scholarship programme.
