Requirements

• Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce
• Proficient in PHP and comfortable working in custom WordPress themes
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and database management
• Experience with GitHub and version control practices
• Comfortable using Linux commands and working in the terminal
• Familiarity with working with APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage, update, and maintain our WordPress website using Elementor and WooCommerce
• Work with PHP in custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Manage and optimise MySQL databases
• Implement and manage version control using GitHub
• Use Linux commands and work effectively in the Linux terminal
• Integrate and manage APIs for website functionality
• Troubleshoot website issues and ensure optimal performance and security
• Support e-commerce operations including product management and customer experience

This is an office-based role at our site in Bury, with remote work not available. We are growing and looking for a driven Full Stack Web Developer to join our team and support our WordPress website and internal web-based applications. We have over 500 employees and operate from state-of-the-art working environments, including a new Technical Response Centre and an award-winning research, innovation, and recycling facility.
