IT Operator - Cantonese or Mandarin Speaking

Salary: £40,000 - 54,000 per year

Requirements

• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
• IT operations related experience
• BSc in Computer Science
• Good knowledge of Microsoft products
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Maintenance and configuration of Microsoft servers
• Maintenance and configuration of Linux servers
• Basic programming and scripting skills
• Ability to act swiftly to urgent situations, such as power cuts and system failures
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide support to daily operations
• Ensure systems run smoothly, report and fix problems
• Handle user requests and provide first level of services in Help-desk
• Produce daily reports, confirmations, and statements to users
• Responsible for first line support verbally and via ticketing system
• Communicate with users for updates and progress of support tickets
• Perform routine IT operational tasks across both early and late shift schedules
• Assemble and configure PC workstations and provide end-user support
• Involve in system infrastructure maintenance, configuration, and updates
• Identify and escalate infrastructure issues from reports
• Maintain T24 and satellite systems support for users
• Liaise effectively with staff from IT and other departments
• Communicate with vendors and contractors
• Comply with applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the Bank
• Adhere to established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures for risk management
