Software Licensing Specialist - Remote

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Expert Software Licensing experience
• Proficient in Azure licensing optimisation, service plans, and reserve capacity
• Deep understanding of Azure EA / Enterprise Agreements
• Knowledge of wider Microsoft licensing including SQL, Windows, Dynamics, M365
• Experience with renewals, demand management, and licensing metrics
• Familiarity with audit threats and vendor negotiations
• Exposure to team leading or people management is beneficial
• Desirable: Exposure to IBM or Oracle licensing (not essential)

Responsibilities

• Manage software licenses effectively and ensure compliance
• Optimize Azure licensing and service plans for cost savings
• Handle vendor negotiations and renewals
• Monitor licensing metrics and audit threats
• Collaborate with internal teams to support software asset management initiatives
• Assist in developing processes for licensing management
• Contribute to the transition to a management role if interested
