HIL Infrastructure Engineer/ Robotics/ Remote

This is a full-time role for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and test automation, working across embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling.

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, robotics, or hardware-software systems Strong experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems Proficiency in Python for automation and framework development Experience designing scalable automation systems (multi-device, distributed environments) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar) Experience with Docker/containerized environments Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation Experience with embedded communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi) Strong debugging skills across hardware and software layers Ability to design modular, maintainable systems Desired Skills & Experience Experience with distributed systems or test orchestration platforms Exposure to cloud platforms and observability tools (Azure, Grafana, etc.) Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) Experience with hardware fixtures or lab infrastructure design Interest in applying AI/ML to engineering workflows What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 35% HIL/SIL Systems & Embedded Integration 25% CI/CD, DevOps & Automation Pipelines 20% Cloud, Logging & Observability Tools 20% Infrastructure Scaling & Orchestration Daily Responsibilities 70% Hands-On Engineering (system design, automation, debugging) 10% Mentorship & Best Practices Development 20% Cross-Functional Collaboration (firmware, hardware, cloud teams) The Offer You Will Receive The Following Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation Time Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
