Senior System Modelling Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Coding experience (MATLAB/Simulink)
• Broad understanding across physics, engineering, mathematics, and data
• Experience in integrating heterogeneous models across different engineering disciplines
• Test and acceptance of integrated systems
• Experience across the Engineering Delivery Lifecycle
• Knowledge of Defence Industry and EW systems (desirable)
• Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, System Design & Architecture (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate new capabilities
• Influence operational outcomes and develop into a Subject Matter Expert
• Produce system-level simulation and analysis tools
• Model and understand complex systems, assess their performance, verify and validate requirements
• Scope hardware and software implementation
• Create and manage high-level system representations to guide development teams
• Collaborate closely with team lead, technical leads, and project Design Authority
• Drive expansion of system-level modelling and simulation efforts
