About the Role The role combines enterprise leadership, commercial acumen, operational excellence, and AI fluency. Working across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Customer Success, IT, Data, Finance, Security, Privacy, and Legal, this leader will oversee marketing systems, performance intelligence, revenue analytics, and AI-driven innovation that improves customer engagement, business decision making, pipeline visibility, revenue predictability, and marketing effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Marketing Systems, Technology & AI Strategy
- Establish and execute the vision and roadmap for marketing technology, data architecture, systems integration, and AI enablement.
- Own and optimize the marketing ecosystem, including CRM, marketing automation, account-based marketing, web, analytics, business intelligence, customer and data platforms, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Identify, evaluate, implement, and scale AI solutions that improve productivity, insight generation, audience targeting, personalization, forecasting, lead management, and campaign effectiveness.
- Embed AI into the technology stack and analytics package through capabilities such as predictive insights, anomaly detection, natural-language analysis, scenario modeling, and recommended actions.
- Partner with IT, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Sales Operations to ensure integrated architecture and responsible use of enterprise data and AI.
- Establish governance, human oversight, adoption standards, value measurement, and controls for marketing systems, data, and AI-enabled workflows.
Marketing Insights, Analytics & Decision Intelligence
- Own the marketing measurement framework, analytics strategy, KPI architecture, and executive reporting roadmap.
- Lead development of dashboards, scorecards, forecasting models, attribution approaches, and recurring performance reviews.
- Translate customer, campaign, funnel, pipeline, revenue, and financial data into clear business insights and recommended actions.
- Build decision-intelligence capabilities using AI-assisted analysis, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, scenario analysis, and natural-language insights.
- Validate the accuracy, assumptions, limitations, bias, and business relevance of data and AI-generated outputs.
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness measurement, ROI analysis, reporting adoption, and insight activation.
Revenue Intelligence & Commercial Performance
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Marketing leadership to align marketing investments with pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Support end-to-end revenue processes from lead generation through opportunity creation, pipeline progression, customer expansion, and retention.
- Contribute to segmentation, territory planning, capacity planning, account management processes, and go-to-market optimization.
- Develop shared pipeline health dashboards, forecast inputs, revenue KPIs, and executive performance scorecards.
- Ensure consistent definitions, governance, and data quality across marketing, sales, customer, and financial systems.
- Analyze funnel and revenue conversion performance to guide investment allocation, pipeline targets, resource priorities, and growth actions.
Lead, Demand & Campaign Enablement
- Oversee lead lifecycle processes, including capture, scoring, routing, nurturing, attribution, and Sales handoffs.
- Improve demand-management processes to increase lead quality, conversion, execution speed, and pipeline contribution.
- Establish scalable campaign execution standards across email, digital, web, events, and account-based marketing.
- Align Marketing and Sales on lifecycle definitions, service levels, governance, and performance expectations.
Data Governance & Operational Excellence
- Lead marketing data-quality, metadata, taxonomy, documentation, access, privacy, and governance practices.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that improve execution speed, quality, automation, and team productivity.
- Develop operating cadences, governance frameworks, process maps, playbooks, workflow standards, and adoption measures.
- Lead change management and continuous improvement across systems, analytics, data, and operational practices.
Enterprise Partnership & Team Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to marketing and business leaders on systems, insights, AI, performance measurement, and commercial decision making.
- Lead, coach, and develop marketing technology, operations, analytics, and insights professionals.
- Build organizational capabilities in marketing technology, analytics, AI, automation, data governance, and revenue intelligence.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, responsible experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning.
Budget, Portfolio & Vendor Management
- Lead budgeting, technology investment planning, vendor relationships, contract oversight, and portfolio prioritization.
- Allocate resources based on strategic value, risk, adoption, business impact, and ROI.
- Ensure technology, data, analytics, and AI investments deliver measurable operational, customer, and revenue outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, marketing analytics, marketing operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, including building capabilities, setting priorities, and leading through organizational change.
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing technology, CRM, automation, data, analytics, and reporting environments.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, including the ability to identify, evaluate, prioritize, and operationalize AI use cases within marketing systems, analytics, and business workflows.
- Experience establishing responsible AI practices, including data readiness, human oversight, output validation, adoption measurement, and partnership with security, privacy, legal, data, and technology teams.
- Experience developing marketing measurement frameworks, executive dashboards, performance insights, attribution, and ROI analysis.
- Experience partnering with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance on pipeline management, forecasting, revenue reporting, and go-to-market
