Senior Project Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in ICT project management
• Microsoft certification
• Networking certification
• Experience managing ICT projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, Google Workspace
• Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V, Networking (VLANs, routing & design)
• Understanding of storage solutions (SAN/NAS), AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and project plans
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Desirable: Project management certification (e.g. Prince2)
• Desirable: Experience with Azure and PowerShell scripting
• Driving licence and own vehicle for travel to schools

Responsibilities

• Lead on technical design and documentation for projects and tenders
• Act as a point of contact for technical queries during project delivery
• Collaborate with schools and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and progress
• Create and manage schedules of work and project plans
• Support presales activity with technical input and timely responses
• Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions
• Help train and support team members where needed
• Maintain high standards of documentation and customer service
