Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced contractor with a strong background in Microsoft 365 environments, including Intune, Entra ID, O365, and D365.
• We need hands-on experience with cloud-native applications such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and External Entra ID.
• We are seeking someone who has worked in smaller or lean IT environments and can identify gaps, recommend improvements, and contribute to future technology strategy.
• We require a proactive, self-motivated professional who can work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
• We need someone who can balance hands-on delivery with advisory and audit responsibilities.
• Experience supporting security, compliance, and platform optimisation initiatives would be highly beneficial.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 implementation or similar compliance projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• We will need you to provide third-line support for escalated technical issues, particularly around Intune and Microsoft 365.
• We will rely on you to work on ongoing projects, including ISO 27001 implementation and Microsoft licensing optimisation.
• We want you to work with our Head of IT to conduct a comprehensive audit of our technology estate.
• We need you to identify skill gaps to help shape our future team design.
• We want you to document our systems and processes to improve clarity and consistency.
• We will need you to help enable our new AI rollout by supporting Copilot adoption across the business.
• We expect you to assess, improve, and optimise our IT environment during a period of transition and change.

We are a growing cybersecurity organisation looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure and Operations Consultant to join us on a 6-month initial contract, with potential to extend. This is a remote, outside IR35 role offering a rate of £400 to £450 per day. You will join us at a key time of transition and change, playing a hands-on role across our Microsoft ecosystem while helping us strengthen security, compliance, and platform optimisation. You will work closely with our Head of IT and contribute to both immediate technical delivery and longer-term technology strategy, alongside projects that support our wider business goals.
