Audio Visual Service Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience supporting commercial AV installations and confidently diagnosing and resolving technical issues in the field.
• Experience with integrated AV and meeting room technologies.
• Experience with AV control platforms such as Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration systems, or similar UC platforms.
• Experience with wireless presentation solutions.
• Experience with audio DSP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A CTS qualification would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated AV systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Provide remote technical support to customers.
• Update firmware and software across installed systems.
• Produce detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate service activities alongside the wider engineering team.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Travel to customer sites throughout London and the South of England, with occasional nationwide travel where required.

This is a varied role combining onsite service visits with office-based technical support.
