Cloud Technical Implementation Manager

Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Technical Implementation Manager with 8-10+ years of background in cloud architecture and technical management roles.
• We require extensive Azure experience and expert knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
• We need proven and recent team leadership or management experience.
• We require experience managing cloud migration programmes, particularly lift-and-shift (rehosting) from on-premises to cloud.
• We are looking for experience in senior Azure cloud-focused roles such as Lead, Manager, or Head of.
• We need the ability to challenge architectural design effectively and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• We require experience defining and implementing cloud guardrails for Azure.
• We need experience implementing cloud strategies and defining tool chains.
• We prefer experience working in highly regulated environments such as financial services, telecoms, or utilities.
• Azure certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• We will rely on you to implement our cloud strategy.
• We will expect you to define and implement tool chains.
• We will expect you to define and implement cloud guardrails.
• We will need you to work with partners to deliver optimisation across the cloud environment.
• We will look to you to act as the technical bridge between legacy systems and our cloud future.
• We will expect you to influence decision makers and help guide our cloud journey.
• We will need you to assess issues across both ends of the architecture and understand why problems are occurring.
