2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £33,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer with previous experience in a similar role.
• We need strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and networking.
• We require experience managing user accounts, permissions and group policies.
• We expect experience supporting hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
• We need the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues including WiFi, VPNs, switches and routers.
• We are looking for someone with experience using remote support tools.
• We require excellent customer service skills, with patience, empathy and clear communication.
• We need someone who can support users with a wide range of technical abilities.
• We require a full driving licence and access to a private vehicle for onsite support across multiple locations.

• We are hiring for a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• We diagnose and resolve 2nd line incidents across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and networking.
• We manage user accounts, permissions and group policies.
• We support hardware including laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
• We troubleshoot connectivity issues such as WiFi, VPN, switches and routers.
• We use remote support tools to resolve issues efficiently.
• We assist with IT projects, upgrades and system improvements.
• We provide onsite support across multiple locations.
• We contribute to ongoing digital development and future growth through project work.
• We deliver outstanding customer service to colleagues with varying technical abilities.
