Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior QA Analyst, Test Analyst or QA Lead.
• Strong SQL skills, including data validation, analysis and testing of complex business rules.
• Experience testing applications hosted within AWS environments.
• Excellent understanding of test design, execution and defect management processes.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience identifying quality risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Active SC clearance.
• Desirable: Experience with Spring Boot applications.
• Desirable: Knowledge of AWS Cognito and authentication solutions.
• Desirable: Experience working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
• Desirable: Previous experience delivering within government or highly regulated environments.
• Desirable: Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify quality risks.
• Manage, report and drive the resolution of defects across multiple teams.
• Analyse defect trends and recommend improvements to testing and quality approaches.
• Develop and implement test strategies, plans and quality assurance processes.
• Influence teams to adopt best practices and promote shared ownership of quality.
• Support complex stakeholder discussions and manage expectations across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies and issues while contributing to mitigation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-led insights and testing metrics.
