Salary: £34,242.19 - 34,242.19 per year

Requirements

• Hold at least a HND in Computing or another ICT-related discipline
• At least 1 years experience in an Infrastructure Support or Service Desk environment
• At least 3 years experience in an Infrastructure Support or Service Desk environment (if not meeting the first criterion)
• Minimum one years experience managing MS Windows Server 2012 or later in a Windows Hyper-V 2019 environment
• Experience managing MS Exchange 2016 (or later) and Office 365
• Experience managing the Microsoft Azure environment
• Experience with TCP/IP-based network support and administration, including remote access equipment, firewalls, switches, or routers
• Ability to analyze business requirements and produce logical, customer-focused ICT solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts in non-technical language
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage diverse workloads
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and influence people and resources to meet objectives

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice to customers in person, by phone, and email
• Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring full resolution and customer follow-up
• Classify and prioritize problems, document root causes, and implement preventative measures
• Identify wider technical or system issues and support the development of solutions
• Patch and update MS Windows Server 2012 or later in a Hyper-V 2019 environment while ensuring appropriate security measures
• Support and manage services in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Support delivery of in-house applications using Microsoft technologies (e.g., DevOps pipelines, Company Portal)
• Manage and configure TCP/IP network equipment, including switches
• Manage and maintain MS Exchange 2016 (or later) on-premise and Office 365 email systems
• Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft cloud identity
• Investigate system alerts and provide appropriate responses
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and contingency preparations
• Assist with the development and maintenance of Windows 10 or later device configurations
• Support secure remote access and smart devices
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and provide guidance
• Comply with all staff policies, including Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work
• Manage information and records in line with policies and statutory requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by the Assembly Commission
